This happened to me when the files were saved on cdrom disks then read back Select all the files for the project, right click then go to any advanced tabs for the information.. Usually those services are constantly 'synching', possibly in both directions, and that may be part of the problem.

6 0 DirectSoft 6 1: In at least two files, I can't add comments to ladder rungs I can CTRL-K, and the comment window pops up.. When I reopen the file, the comments are gone, and I'm unable to add new comments.

This project was saving to a folder linked to DropBox, but I've never had trouble with that before..
